John is a hard working artist with a long background in color mixing, color matching, and custom automotive and motorcycle refinishing, including composition and airbrushing.  John turned to oil painting 10 or so years ago, and has studied the masters extensively.  all of Johns work is done with artist grade pigments for archival integrity.  John uses rare earth pigments in alot of his work, and makes the paints himself.  John paints on canvas, linen, hemp, and jute.  When wood apears with the work, john makes his own stain from pigments in the painting.  Critics have found no peers for johns body of work.  Some have commented that his work is sometimes naughty but never distasteful.  Many have coined it in style as primative.  John is painting from things and events in his life.  Feel free to contact John with any questions at artacuity@reagan.com.  I thankyou for your interest in my work, John.
