After I gave birth my life changed forever. It acquired a new meaning and so did my art.
I’ve been sculpting for many years but I never felt I could give people as much with my art as I do now.
For me, motherhood is a unique state of body and soul that is not created by simply giving birth to another being – it blooms into its full strength from interaction between a mother and her child: from touch, eye contact, body warmth, love and care.
Through my sculpture I attempt to share my own deeply human and yet unique experience of being a Woman and a Mother.
