ARTIST STATEMENT
I’ve always believed drawing is the best way of profound knowledge of an object or person. This is a doctrine and discipline, through which I reveal the truth about myself. External breath of the artist and internal breath of model, creates the third life on paper. That is why I am so much interested in portrait.

I look for inspiration in the nature of the observed fragments, mostly on events taking place in my immediate area. My portraits are filled with emotion. Shows the incredibly strong moods, mental experiences, accompanying me in the act of creation. I care about the appearance of a transient world and the destruction of the social – psychological man in the modern world.
My drawings are often incomplete, and as a goes – understated. They leave place for imagination, force to reflection. What distinguishes my work from a number of others is a perfect workshop I use, subtlety and simplicity of portraying reality. Thanks to this I am able to undertake the most difficult subject in art, tell a story about someone and breathe life into it.

In a categorical emphasis on the essential qualities of character, in a very bold showing a human features, the passion of drawing and color, I become bold and aware artist, sometimes even cruel, and sometimes very subtle.
