Born in San Francisco and lived through the ’60’s, I’ve been doing primarily minimalist line drawings most of my life. Pen and ink was my usual preferred medium. With the advent of the iPad I began experimenting with digital and now seldom use ink or paint or paper except for printing. My earlier work is predominantly black and white and very simple, sometimes one or two lines. More recently I’ve been experimenting with color but attempt to adhere to the principle that the truth is basically simple.
