I’m inspired by color, marks, and marrying materials in fresh ways to discover what emerges. From there, I distract myself in any way possible while I finish a piece, so that my mind doesn’t interfere with the process. Nothing good ever comes of that.
Bio: Michelle Mercier is an abstract painter living in western Massachusetts. Focused primarily on large-scale commissions for collectors, Michelle has also taught adult painting classes and participated in Open Studios at the Mill in Holliston, Massachusetts since 2014.

Susan Lizotte was born in Los Angeles, and adopted at two months old. When she was one, she moved with her adopted parents to Bronxville in Westchester County, NY; they moved back to L.A. when she was 14. She earned her B.A. in Theater Arts at UCLA –discovering her love for art and art history through a class at the end of her senior year. While still in college, she worked part time designing men’s custom dress shirts, and went on to start her own business designing bespoke shirts and suits for men, and ran it for fifteen years. After finding and meeting her biological mother – an artist –Lizotte finally decided to pursue her love of art and painting. She resides in Los Angeles, balancing her studio practice with life with her husband, four children, and family pets including a peacock.

Mandalena Wozniak Melissourgaki was born in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland but now she lives and works in Crete, Greece. From an early age, it was obvious that her biggest love is painting and she started participate to a lot of art competitions. Oil painting can be forgiving at times to correct small issues, with that said it is less forgiving when applying a glaze over an already painted area. Patience must be learned to allow the already Painted area to be completely dry. As time has pasted, I have learned that it takes time to make a great piece of Art.
