CAPTIVATED! This word best describes me as I paint. Encaustic allures me through the unique movement in the wax. It always illuminates my curiosity and keeps me coming back to see what will happen next. I paint through my emotions, therefore, some paintings may reveal a more zen feel while others come off a bit more edgy. The organic nature in the wax is simply vulnerable, revealing and bold. My hope is that the audience will take time to study the depth and layers in this delicious medium.
