I like to work in series, which I refer to as “Stories”.
“New Stories, Old Places” is a series of oil paintings created using only palette knife. I employ this technique, that I adopted and perfected over the years, exclusively because it allows me to play freely with layers of intense colors and textures, for a dramatic yet realistic result.
The inspiration for this work was based on the memories of familiar places of my youth, depicting a feeling rather than a landscape.
