SHILARTS is a working Financial IT Professional from an investment management firm. I am an engineer and loves ART and PHOTOGRAPHY as a hobby!

The consistent theme that attracts me is nature based art, random abstracts and various cultures. How to mix colors? How to add various layers to it? Do leaves on a tree appear differently at various times of day? How is color affected when ambient light changes? How to paint various flowers? How to still be in touch with our traditions? How to capture pictures in various angles and shades of lights? I always like to learn something new and Painting & Photography is an art which I would like to explore more and more! Acrylic and Oil paints are exhilarating mediums that lead to endless adventures… and sometimes I get happy to follow their lead.

SHILARTS is a member of City Lights Gallery, Bridgeport CT and CBAC – Carriage Barn Arts Center, New Cannon CT. Her art work has been exhibited at CBAC – Carriage Barn Arts Center at members show and Spectrum Grayscale theme, 19th Annual Art Show – Pequot Library Southport CT, Art League of New Britain – Working From The Figure, Frame Barn Ridgefield CT – Spring show, Three Roses Studio Fairfield CT, 50 Strong Art celebrations Brooklyn NY and Connecticut Maharashtra Mandal at Indian community gatherings.
