Bio:

Jimmy S. Clark, Jr. is a self-taught, emerging artist originally from Louisiana, currently living in Northern Virginia. Jimmy has been fascinated with drawing and painting since childhood. He specializes in landscapes and abstract painting using acrylic as his medium.

Artist Statement:

Jimmy’s source of inspiration comes from memories of nature, water and life experiences. Jimmy has been recently experimenting with abstraction to express his artistic abilities. His acrylic works are inspired by the serenity and calmness of nature and life’s journey. When he paints a piece, he is reminded that God’s creation is grand and beautiful. He attempts to capture uniqueness and originality on canvas using colorful and bold strokes. He wants to present every piece with a breath of life for people to find peace and be inspired.
