I’ve always love mythology and fairy tales. In fifth grade, I checked out a Greek mythology book from the library and I stayed up long past my bedtime reading it. As a lesbian identified woman, I have always struggled with our lack of representation. This is what drives me to draw upon traditional mythology story for my illustrations, recreating them with a queer, feminist twist.
I graduated in 2010 from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s in the Arts and Humanities, a minor in Religious Studies, and a concentration in painting.
