Mike W. Morgan studied art at Hampton High School in Hampton, Virginia and Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland under teachers and professors Timothy Vermeulen, Walter Nichols, Janet Rash, and Alvis Mann. Mike’s artwork has been included in a number of shows, with several awards along the way. He currently studies and employs the methods of Abstraction, Portraiture and Surrealism. His primary media is pencil, charcoal, and acrylic. More recently, Mike has been exploring an abstract technique which involves the application of a figure-eight linear motion from various angles to compose his works.
