Jason Antaya – Chicopee, MA

Born in Springfield, MA, Jason Antaya is a mixed media collage artist who resides in Chicopee, MA with his wife Annie. Jason’s collage works are highly imaginative, intricate and many are a blend of representational portraiture and abstract figurative subjects. Vintage yellowed paper along with his quirky sense of humor are featured heavily in his compositions. He continues to pursue his dream of creating unique, thoughtful pieces that intrigue and invite the viewer to ponder the process and intent. His work has been featured in local exhibitions in Holyoke, Easthampton and Agawam. More recently Antaya’s creations have been showcased further afield in New York, North Carolina, Laguna Beach and Art Palm Springs. His first solo exhibition “What will Happen” recently wrapped up in Amherst, MA.
