Featured Artist | Michelle Mercier

Sunrise | Acrylic and Oil on Canvas | 36 x 36

I’m inspired by color, marks, and marrying materials in fresh ways to discover what emerges. From there, I distract myself in any way possible while I finish a piece, so that my mind doesn’t interfere with the process. Nothing good ever comes of that.

Bio: Michelle Mercier is an abstract painter living in western Massachusetts. Focused primarily on large-scale commissions for collectors, Michelle has also taught adult painting classes and participated in Open Studios at the Mill in Holliston, Massachusetts since 2014.

Maze | Acrylic and Ink on Cotton Paper | 510x410mm

Van der Wath’s passion for collecting art spurred the desire in 2005 to undertake art as a hobby for self-expression.

His fulfilling journey evolved significantly in 2019 when he commenced mentorship under Dr Elfriede Dreyer, Professor Extraordinarius. Featured Artist | Robert Frankel

Farbe ist Alles #15 | Acrylic on Canvas | 40 x 30 x 1.5

I was always fascinated with the idea that colors can have an effect on our emotional, physical, and mental states. Examples of this can be found in the expressions, “Seeing Red,” or “Having the Blues.” I like to use bright bold colors set against each other in a geometric structure to create positive motion and energy. I have exhibited in a number of exhibitions over the past year including Van Der Plas Gallery, 440 Gallery, and SITE Gallery in New York City, La Galleria Pall Mall (two different shows) in London and Chie Gallery in Milan Italy. This Spring/Summer (depending on Covid 19) I am scheduled to be at VanDer Plas Gallery, Colorida Gallery (Lisbon, Portugal) and Saatchi-The Other Art Fair in Los Angeles.

Deco Delight | photography enhanced with photoshop | 18x30

I have been expressing my joy of art with paint, shapes and colors since I was very young. I started as a painter, evolved into a photographer, and eventually began hand-painting on my Cibachrome prints over 35 years ago. Before Photoshop I found a way to expressa new magical reality with the vivid, saturated and unrealistic color. I painted into each photographic print.
