Philip A. Robinson Jr. uses sculpture to interpret and express his ideas and feelings surrounding Love, Women of Color, Idolized Male figures, Music, Fashion and the “celebrity.” He creates a dialogue between the dichotomy of ‘celebrity’ that allows a media driven audience time to adopt and discuss.

Currently, probing the iconic figure and image, Robinson relates the ideals and perceptions of the “celebrity” to the achievement gap, and priorities of today’s high school student.
