My artwork takes a holistic approach in addressing a range of reoccurring human concerns. I don’t endeavor to limit my work to one influence or another, rather, I attempt to produce art which focuses on themes that transcend cultural boundaries. Throughout my career I have expressed through my work a multitude of subjects which are joined with numerous media. The themes that are illustrated within my art are vast, but the work is connected by technique. Emotion is consistently denoted through strokes spanning from the heavy to the diaphanous or pigments ranging in opacity. I enjoy interpreting material objects into abstraction, often taking literal topics and modifying them into forms and colors of visual interest.
