Being a lover of music and the beautiful outdoors, I create expressive alcohol ink and mixed media abstract paintings inspired by my “inner hippie”, my favorite tunes and the many colors and shapes found in nature.
Like nature’s art, every alcohol ink design has a unique life of its own. I pour the inks onto paper and allow them to flow and mingle organically as they’re manipulated with air, gravity, or an occasional brush or instrument. Each piece is dynamic in that it may transition through many phases before morphing into its final manifestation.
I find peace and harmony as I watch each creation come to life, nurture it, and set it free. It brings me a sense of fulfillment and happiness to share each creation, which is a piece of myself, with others.
