G.H. Strauss – New York, NY

G. H. Strauss has been doing photography since 1990. His work has appeared in national juried exhibitions as well as in a variety of galleries and public spaces. Characterized by what he calls “spontaneous discovery” of people, places and animals, it is informed by humanism at times leavened with a dash of Dada, surrealism and humor.

“I have always been fascinated by visual dynamics in art and life, and this interest is reflected in my photographic images,” Strauss observes. “I also look for spontaneous situations that tell stories. Some of these are implicit but communicate messages about a variety of topics, ranging from the charm of young children to the humanity of dogs to the glories of landscapes and cityscapes.”

To arrange a private presentation of selected large, mounted prints that reflect the full effect of his work, please contact him by email atghstrauss@aol.com
