- Artist Portfolio Magazine – Q1 Art Competition
- Debby Dernberger – South San Francisco, CA
I have completed most of the paintings in several series in the last 6 years. I have never finished so many works of art one right after the other in all my life. I am truly excited about each and everyone one of them. The inspiration just seems endless. There are stories behind each image that delves into visions I have had either in a deep sleep or in a meditative state. May I present to you art at it’s finest; creative images that are the strongest for me with a genuine story behind them. Truth is always stranger than fiction. Innovative and inspiring yet surreal.
I have been creating arts and crafts most of my life and it is a true vehicle for my expression. I currently love to go to local beaches on the coast near Half Moon Bay, CA. I collect sea glass and shells for my jewelry pieces: necklaces, earring, rings and bracelets. I love the organic feel in these lovely ocean gems and they feel magnificent against one’s skin. A piece of glass that has been refined and rounded by the ocean’s surf over the centuries is exquisite.
