Stewart Stephenson – Vancouver, Canada

A pioneering self-taught artist, Stewart began his art career at an early age, creating large-scale sculptural works incorporating industrial and recycled materials.Today he specializes in abstract paintings known widely for their unique compositions, vibrant colors, and flawless resin finishes. Stewart is one of Canada’s best-selling artists and his world renowned paintings can be found in private and corporate collections around the globe, as well as at the award-winning Stewart Stephenson Modern Art Gallery in Vancouver, BC. Stewart has captured the attention of collectors and art lovers everywhere with paintings that are unlike any other contemporary works. Often working intuitively and with no prior sketch work, Stewart’s paintings are expressive and bold. Strong, powerful brushstrokes, fine lines and experimental mark-making highlight Stephenson’s versatility as an artist. With subject matter ranging from abstract to landscape to figurative, Stewart Stephenson’s creations offer a sensory experience; a colourful amalgamation of the artist’s perception, experimentation, and original style

Marie Josee Bergeron – Laval, Canada

Marie-Josée Bergeron obtained a Fine Arts Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from the Université de Quebec in Montreal. For several years she acted as an Art Director for various commercial trade shows, television, residential and special design projects. Bergeron’s passion for painting and communications has led her to teaching; she has created a unique painting program that focuses on intuitive abstract painting. She’s recently received a special mention for the Terraskin Artwork “Fire” from SIDIM (Montreal International Design Show). In 2011 and 2012, Bergeron was awarded the Desjardins Excellence Bursary as well as an honorable mention from the respected St-Hilaire Museum. Bergeron’s artworks have been exhibited in several well-known cultural establishments such as André-Papineau’s Culture Centre and are present in many private collections across Quebec.
In parallel to her art work, she is a member of the Business For The Arts Association.  The main objective of this association is to promote young professional’s involvement in Montreal’s art community by proposing various art related activities.
