Daniel Cruit – San Francisco, CA – http://www.danielcruit.com
I am a figurative realist painter living and working in San Francisco, CA. After graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2014, I moved from Florida to the Bay Area.
I bring my intensive focus on illustration into my portrait work, and rather than striving for photographic representation, try to weave portraits into larger themes and narratives.

Anthony Cairo – Grand Rapids, MI – http://www.anthonycairoart.squarespace.com
I am a mixed media, figurative artist living and working in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Currently, I am in my final semester as an undergraduate Fine Arts major at Kendall College of Art and Design. Apart from my more traditional images, the human form and portraiture are tools I utilize to express emotional subject matter such as gender issues, suicide, addiction, and spirituality. As a creative individual I produce work in order to connect with my audience and engage in contemporary conversations.

I’m 19 years old and I work at a lumber yard where I receive scrap wood to use as my canvases. Most of my portraits are “selfies” that people would send to me. All portraits are consist of spray paint, acrylic, and ink made on wood; along with a couple on canvas.
