DM Davis takes his original photography and utilizes various graphic design techniques to create images that transport viewers to another place – even if only for a moment. With inspiration drawn from nature and the beautiful desert landscapes, themes of self-discovery and escapism are prevalent – many of the pieces feature a spiritual or outer-worldly energy.

Taking what we know to be true and combining it with fantastical elements, Davis explores what is and what could be in the hopes of giving the viewer a reprieve from the ordinary. Created with the idea of opening the mind and exploring what dreams may come, each of the pieces tells a story – and, ultimately, that story will be up to the observer.
