Amy Williams – Dayton, OH
Amy Williams is a graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. She received her undergraduate degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology in Graphic Design. She is also a winner of the 2010 Yeck Fellowship from the Dayton Art Institute and won second place in the acrylics division from the Springfield Museum of Art member’s exhibition in 2011. She currently lives in Dayton, Ohio. Her paintings consist of landscapes that are both representational and abstract in content. She works in oil, acrylic, and watercolor.

A warm breeze pushing hair from my face, floating on water, and the movement of air and water are the moments and things I explore in my work.
