Biography:
Pamela Susan Land, is a native of Columbus, GA. She started her Art Career as a Floral Designer and Interior Decorator at the age of 15 she began an apprenticeship with a local Designer in Columbus. She moved to Dallas, TX at the age of 19 where she lived for eleven years. It was while living in TX she first discovered her passion for Oil Painting.
As often happens life gets in the way and she had to put away her brushes to raise her children for the last 25 years. Following a tragic accident six years ago where she nearly lost her life, it was due to the encouragement of her sister and therapist she picked up her brushes again in May of 2015.  It was the best therapy she could have every hoped for since Painting not only transports her to a tranquil place it allows her to forget her pain for a short while.
A sufferer of Agoraphobia for many years Painting has brought new life into her world which she expresses through her Art. She paints with both Acrylic and Water Miscible Oils. Although mostly self taught, she has studied with some of the nation’s top acrylic, and oil painters and considers her ongoing journey as an artist as one of the greatest pleasures in her life.
